Charles Kozeny-Pelling
CTO
Charlie leads the technology team at Minitute, where he is responsible for the platform. He has spent more than two decades building software, and specialises in complex applications that run in the browser and natively on iOS and Android, so he knows how to make a product feel equally at home on a lecturer’s laptop and a student’s phone.
Charlie graduated from the University of Oxford in 2001 with a doctorate in Philosophy. Since then he has worked on Op Reports, a highly complex MedTech application for surgeons which has taught him to turn ambitious ideas into software that is reliable, secure and simple to use.
A problem-solver at heart, Charlie is happiest when a difficult technical question stands between a good idea and the people it’s meant to help.

Simon Greenland
CCO
Simon leads creative and product development at Minitute in Oxford, where he shapes how the product looks, feels and works for the tutors and students who use it. He brings 20 years of experience designing, building and project-managing digital applications for global brands in the technology sector.
He began his career at some of London’s largest agencies, working for blue-chip clients including Microsoft, GE Healthcare, Canon and HP. He then spent seven years in Melbourne, taking products from first sketch to global launch with UX at the core of his design-thinking.
At Minitute, Simon applies that experience to a challenge facing universities everywhere: making sure a student really understands the essay that they have handed in.
